ARTWORK#1: 'Pages from An Opened Notepad in The Jewish Museum Shop', 2004

12 x found pages in frames each 30 x 40 x 2cm

Made on a residency in Berlin I noticed that a few metres away from the sombre visitors book an opened souvenir notepad in the shop had the top few pages filled with words and marks as people tested the pens and pencils.

Each page had the distinctive footprint of the Daniel Libeskind designed museum cut into it, this logo appeared on most merchandise. I asked the assistant in the shop if I could have all the pages with any drawing/writing on, then framed each one.

YOUR INPUT: These are to be hung on the wall on a couple of screws, as you would any picture, however you will install them in any arrangement, combination, heights, pattern you want. For example as below, but there are infinite varieties. I also am happy for you to have a few outside the gallery space should you really want to.
